Eldon LOSA

Located in Eldon MO

Welcome

E-LOSA is a coed recreational soccer league. All our members are volunteers and we need great people like you to step up and be a coach.

Being a E-LOSA soccer coach is a great experience. It is all about teaching kids to have fun, building teamwork skills and learn the great sport of soccer. The coach sets the practice times and days. Typically practice is held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays or Fridays between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Eldon Parks and Rec. You can have 1 to 2 practices a week ranging between 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on age.

Don't have any soccer experience?
No Problem, because it is a fun recreational league. We have equipment, drills and E-LOSA team members to help you with practice and understanding of the game. We also have an annual coaching clinic. Please check Dates of Interest for the next clinic.

Coaching requirements

Coaching Requirements

Thank you for volunteering your time and energy.  You will make an impact on many children's lives.   It is important to remember how your actions as a coach effect the player's soccer experience.   Before you begin, ALL head coaches and ALL assistant coaches must complete the MANDATORY steps BEFORE stepping a foot on the practice or game field.  ELOSA will be checking that all coaches have completed these tasks and LOSA will enforce these rules.  You and your team will not be allowed to practice or play games.

If you have question, please contact Tammy Knoll at [email protected]

All Coaches are required to complete the following:
*Background Check - required annually.  All background checks expire 6/30.

*Safe Sport Training - federal requirement.  All coaches must complete initial training or a refresher course each year.

*Heads Up Concussion Training - one time requirement

Once registered as a coach on the ELOSA website, Tammy Knoll will provide you with instructions for completing requirements.

If you do, please sign in and it will take you through the necessary fields.  Once complete, requirements will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Click on details at the right of the background check line, and it will take you through the steps to complete the background check.

All Coaches are required to wear the team shirt while coaching games. If the requirements are not completed, the coaches will not be able to get their coach shirt and the game will have to be forfeited.
